Plastic Age is a trio band in its twenties that has already seen the most of the french stages (Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Metz, Dijon, Angers, Tours, ...). With over one hundred live shows the band sees their fans grow loyal to their blazing sets giving no time to rest from the incoming overwhelming energy and freshness.
Apolline (vocals/bass), Nicolas (guitar/vocals) and Gaëlle (drums/vocals) met and started their band back in high school in Nevers in 2013. Six years later, their passion and determination are stronger than ever.
After the first EP that’s been welcomed by the critics in 2017 (Rock n’ Folk, Abus Dangereux ...), their first album Blood Red Roses came out in 2018 and chose a not so common artistic path in France. With core punk energy and rage they melted together pop melody, ear sticking chorus and crispy vocal harmonics.
The album sees itself warmly welcomed by the critics. Several tracks are now included in many french rock radio playlists and the lives shows are coming up unrestrained.
This album and the EP were both recorded within the Tambours du Bronx studio. The Tambours du Bronx band also invited Apolline to feature their tour (like their first show in Paris), and one of their new album track, also very well welcomed by the critics.
The band is piling up various projects like music videos written and produced by various artists that are released regularly. This is a way to underline their bond with the cinema universe as the “Blood Red Roses” shows it. The band is being on big demand and the future is announced to be full of new events and opportunities.
